Discount Retail Chain Lidl Serbia (owned by the German Schwarz Gruppe) plans to start the construction of a large logistics center in Lapovo in the coming months, the Tanjug agency reported.
The company became the owner of a plot in Lapovo on which it will build its second logistics center in Serbia. The first is located in Nova Pazova and covers an area of more than 45,000 square meters.
The investment in Lapovo will have 60,000 square meters and that logistics-distribution center will be one of the largest in the Balkans. Showing the success of the Lidl format in Serbia after entering the country in 2018.
