Discount Retail Chain Aldi Belgium (German family owned) wants to equip its store car parks with at least two EV charging points for electric cars by the end of next year. All in all, there are 900 EV charging points supplied by PLUON, more than half of which are fast chargers.
Earlier, Delhaize and the Colruyt group also announced the roll-out of charging stations. By 2025, it will be mandatory in Flanders to install charging stations if a car park has more than 20 spaces. In the case of new construction, it already applies from 10 parking spaces.
