Discount Variety Retail Chain Action is testing a new click and collect service in #France. This is the first market where the Dutch discounter has launched an #e-commerce solution.
Action's success story in the shopping street Action has been owned by investor 3i group since 2011. The chain grew rapidly at the time, making it one of the scarce success stories in Dutch #retail. In 2011 Action had 245 #stores, now there are almost 1,600 stores spread over seven #European countries. Last year, the company closed with a turnover of over $5.7 billion. Action resumes plans to expand to the Czech Republic and Italy, which were paused by the corona crisis.
