Discount Non Food Retail Chain Action (owned by PE i3 Group) is continuing its development in France. The bar of 700 stores in France was crossed by Action. The 700th unit was opened in Chalette sur Loing in Loiret. This opening has encouraged the creation of around twenty local jobs. More precisely, the counter is now 703 stores in France and 2,193 in Europe. Founded in 1993, the Action discounter is present in ten European countries. “France is our first market,” recalled Wouter de Backer, Managing Director of Action France at the LSA Commercial Strategies congress held on October 4, 2022.
