On the other hand, as the discounter store market has reported an increasing growth, reaching stores such as D1 or Ara among the companies that sold the most in 2021, competing with Alkosto S.A. and the Grupo Éxito. According to the Supersocieties report, by the end of 2021 D1 S.A.S reported revenues of $9.91 billion, an increase of 34.84% and Ara rebounded revenues of $5.3 billion.
