Discount Retail Chain BİM (listed BİST: BIMAS) increased its net profit to 8.157 billion TL last year (€ 406 mio).
BİM announced its financial results for 2022. Accordingly, last year, the company's net sales increased by 109 percent compared to the previous year and reached 147.716 billion TL (€7.8 Bn).
In 2022, BİM's net profit was 8.157 billion TL, an increase of 178 percent compared to 2021.
As of the end of the year, the number of domestic stores of BİM increased to 10 thousand 370 and the average number of daily customer visits increased from 5 million to 5.8 million. The number of stores in Morocco was announced as 627 and 311 in Egypt as of the end of the year.
BİM also published a statement on KAP regarding the targets for 2023. Accordingly, the company announced that it targets a sales increase of approximately 80% this year and an EBITDA Margin of around 7%.
