In 2022, Aldi Spain avoided to emit more than 3,296 tons of CO2 emission into the atmosphere, thanks to the use of solar energy at their stores.
Within the framework of Aldi's sustainability strategy, they closed last year with more than 17,500 photovoltaic panels, installed at 170 stores, achieving an electric self-consumption of more than 13 million kWh.
