Extending from the Suez Canal in the north to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in the south, it serves as a vital artery for international trade and is a region abundant in cultural heritage, natural resources, and untapped economic opportunities also for discount retail.
As the European Union (EU) aims to diversify partnerships and protect global supply chains, enhancing cooperation with the Red Sea-bordering countries—Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen—has become increasingly important.
