Italy: ARD discount aims for the future between digital innovation and new assortment range

Discount Retail Chain ARD Discount introduced a new app to stay closer to customers, with direct contact through which you can take advantage of tailor-made offers but also receive the news of the moment that are increasingly frequent at ARD Discount.


This is the new application previewed during a discount retailer convention, now widespread in Southern Italy, has been promoted within the entire network, both at own stores and franchisers. With as aim to looking into the future, between innovation and new objectives, including that of making the shopping experience even more dynamic and closer to customer needs.


ARD Discount, driven by a forward-looking vision that combines tradition with innovation, sustainability with accessibility, has turned the spotlight on a series of initiatives that, from now until the end of the year, will characterize the brand. The new app integrates tools for collecting points, personalized promotions, quick access to the digital flyer and current offers. The official launch of the app will be preceded by an impactful advertising campaign with a video that invites consumers to view the flyer in the app, rather than using the paper one, thus respecting the environment more.


In fact, the new assortment line of personal care products, "Tale of Essence", a range with refined ingredients and enveloping fragrances, was also previewed. Restyling also for the Ionix brand line of household products, with a wider and more modern assortment. The convention was also an opportunity for the presentation of the new Christmas campaign, which anticipates a festive period full of exclusive products. Among the delicacies that will enrich the festive tables are also the Ciocco and Stelle Panettone with a heart of ice cream and the new Sfornasole. Accompanying the entire event was the mascot "Ardy", also presented for the first time and which will become the virtual guide of the new app.
