Poland: ALDI Poland is getting closer to 400 stores

Discount Retail Chain ALDI Poland continues its expansion in our country. Successive development is one of the strategic goals that ALDI Polska has been consistently pursuing for years. Thanks to this, the ceiling of 400 stores nationwide will be exceeded this year. In October alone, 9 new store locations appeared in Poland.
"We will continue this strategy in 2026. We have already planned several dozen new stores. Each new opening is a reason for joy and pride, and soon we are celebrating a unique event, the launch of the 400th store in Poland. It is also worth mentioning another important milestone in the development of our network, i.e. the opening of the third distribution center in Emilianów, scheduled for the first quarter of the new year", emphasizes Tomasz Gawlik, Director of the Real Estate and Expansion Area.
"The launch of the center will allow us to increase operational efficiency and optimize costs. Investing in the development of the logistics network combined with stable expansion will make us even closer to our customers", he adds.
The October openings brought the largest increase in the number of ALDI stores in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, as many as three new outlets appeared here, bringing the total number of outlets in this region to 38.
The number of stores in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship has increased to 43, and in the case of the Silesian Voivodeship, it is almost 80 stores.
The area of each of the latest ALDI is on average 1000 sqm. The stores are prepared in accordance with the brand's new visual concept, the leitmotif of which is freshness. It is visible both in the way the space is arranged, the assortment and its display.
The chain also takes care of additional amenities for customers, such as bread slicers, small shopping trolleys for the youngest customers, as well as intuitive bottle vending machines. Visitors can also enjoy comfortable parking lots, and with the specific needs of its customers in mind, ALDI runs quiet hours, keeping the level of sound stimuli to a minimum.
